For those who joined the show after FEBRUARY, we've been long waiting for the dryer company to actually remember that a) our dryer is under warranty, and b) that means that when we report there's a big fat crack in the dryer, they're supposed to do something about it.

Now, I've been using the washer and then hanging my clothes on whatever's available. There was nothing remotely large enough for my sheets, though, so those simply weren't getting washed in the first place. Then one of my roommates noted last week that the crack wasn't actually preventing them from using the dryer... it was just making it incredibly noisy. So I thought, okay, today I've got time... so I toss the sheets and some random clothes into the washer... before they finish my roommate's back and informing me that the new dryer will be here any minute and to not use the old one. -_-

It gets worse... they didn't install it. Or even take away the old one. So my roommate is out in the garage at this moment trying to figure out how to connect it, while my clothes and sheets are all sitting damp in the wash. Joy. I'm glad to finally have a decent dryer, but I am NEVER dealing with Haier again. (Got that people? H-A-I-E-R. Avoid 'em.)

Here's [livejournal.com profile] rock49's questions:

1. Turnabout is fair play - do you have any favorite webcomics? Which ones?
- Oh geeze, we'll be here all night. I read something in the neighborhood of 30 . But my favorites include College Roomies From Hell!!!, Fans!, It's Walky!, Schlock Mercenary, Adventurers!, and Sluggy Freelance. 1/0 was also good but has ended its run; that doesn't mean you shouldn't read the archives, though.

2. I'm sure you watch TV on occasion. What are some of your personal favorite shows, and why?
- Family Guy is brilliant humor. CSI is like a good mystery nove with a bit of science thrown in for the geek in me. Amazing Race is the only reality show worth watching, with people who actually EARN their victory. Buffy had brilliant long-term plots and some creative references to just about everything, pop culture to literature.

3. You're in college, I know this. I also know you were in Japan for a while. But, however, I know little of your situation. What are you studying? Also, how was Japan?
- The program was pure language and culture, which has absolutely nothing to do with either my Computer Science major or my Digital Arts minor. I just wanted to do it. As for Japan itself, did you know that when they speak there, there's no subtitles? :p Thankfully, they're fairly understanding that you're going to be a little clueless when it comes to Japanese (they probably expected me to be a lot worse). You also get a lot of curious attention if you're obviously not a native (read: white) but I didn't actually feel discriminated against.

4. Fun one. You are given the oppourtunity to aquire the abilities of any comic book hero/villian. Who do you choose?
- Impossibly well-toned physique? Either that or flight.
