You're all crazy!

I got together with a few friends to watch a movie or two last night. Since everyone in the group but me lived in a particular dorm, we had planned to meet there and watch it in the lounge downstairs. Unfortunately, it was around 6:45, and there was a Buffy fanatic in there watching the show on FX. (Not that I don't like Buffy myself, but FX is currently re-running fourth season, which I know she's seen already.)
So after we had established that she wasn't budging, we went up to Andrew Crispen's room and watched the movies there. First "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" which I'd seen before, but which had some nice animation and was worth a second viewing, and then "Catch-22" which I'd read but never seen. Catch-22 was a lot more depressing on tape than in print, probably because you actually get to see the carnage (instead of reading an outlandish description of it). I'm thinking about re-reading the book, just to remember what they left out. (Then again, I said the same things about Fellowship of the Ring.)
