I suspect intentionally, since the labs were scheduled to be closed already, but I didn't know it would include the school dialup until I tried to connect from home 8 hours ago and got nowhere. >_<

Speaking of stuff unexpectedly closing, there's been some sort of pseudo holiday going on in Japan this week (or possibly just in Tsuru) that's got about half the businesses closed. Including both sources of food on campus. But not the campus itself. *grumbles* If I want lunch, I've either got to hike over to the nearest convenience store, somehow manage to stuff a relatively non-perishable meal into my backpack with all the other junk, or hold out until I get home. Chris hungry!

At the end of summer, in a largely agricultural area of Japan, where harvests are going on everywhere? I suspect not.
