Go to Google Maps.

In the first field, enter "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC" (the address of the White House, if you didn't know).

In the second field, enter "10 Downing Street, London" (the address of the home of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; I don't think it has an official name).

Get directions. Take note of step 24 in particular.

Talk about horridly botched directions. You swim to Ireland (which is closer) and then take the ferry. Going to France should, of course, be avoided whenever possible.

I tried other starting and ending locations, but they always use the Boston/Le Havre swim. Maybe there's a good current there or something.

My dad tried putting a place in Hawaii into his GPS system a few weeks ago and it just said it couldn't find a route. Clearly, Google knows how to find solutions to problems instead of just claiming that something's impossible.
