And another schism fails.

I finally latched onto a bible study group from my church around the time I finally got my own mode of transportation -- it was probably around October. For scheduling reasons at the time, my best shot was the Monday group. It was my first time attending; it was also the first time for another person (Jennifer, I think her name was), and two more (Meredith and Donny) had signed on rather recently. This brought the group attendance to 12.
A week later, the group leadership decided 12 was overcrowded, and it was time to split us up. I went with Troy and Nora (married couple and the hosts) and the other two newcomers. Kyler joined us shortly after that, and it looked like we had a good group started...
Except Jennifer's work schedule changed and, after missing three studies in a row, she gave up and moved to the Thursday group. Meredith and Donny dropped off the map a little later; still not sure what happened to them. Nora, seven months pregnant at the time the split happened, gave up on trying to host at her place (or attend) around January, and Kyler graciously offered to take over that portion at his and Rebecca's apartment. Then Troy dropped a couple weeks later when the baby came and they both had a second fulltime job.
For those keeping score, the remaining group attendance was at this point myself, Kyler, and Rebecca, the last of whom doesn't really attend the group (again, scheduling).
After my abrupt absence last month effectively made it a Bible Study of One for two weeks, I came back to find we were both back in the original group.
Yay for logistics.
