Can you hear me now?

For a couple months, I've woken up every so often with the sensation of pressure in my right ear. It usually cleared up within an hour or two, so I ignored it as congestion. Then over the past week, it's been every morning, and more than a couple hours. Yesterday it didn't clear up at all. Same thing today. It feels positively clogged, and if I put on headphones it's pretty clear any sound from the right is seriously muffled.
Mind you, I'm an adult, out of college, and still unemployed... which means no medical insurance whatsoever.
Mom gave me some eardrops and some decongestant. Let's hope that's all it really needed.

Date: 2004-01-03 10:28 pm (UTC)At least, I didn't. But then, I'm almost getting used to having reduced sound in one ear.
it's also painful to try and clean it. Kinda reminds me of the time I scratched my eardrum . . . aybe I ought to see the doctor about this.
Oh, but wait. My doctor's a moron, who will only see her patients for one thing at a time. I'd need to make two appointments: one for my ear, and another to see if I can get another Ventolin inhaler.
