Filled four out of five of my new user pic slots, finally; test-driving Sumomo right now. Got a fifth almost ready but I can't think of a good caption for it just yet. Feel free to check out the others. This was the first time I tried animating gifs, and I'm pleased with the results.

While I was at it, I polished up some rather bad digital photos Mom and Dad took while they were visiting my brother last week. As fun as making icons is, being able to brighten badly lit shots and remove red eye is more useful when padding resumes, so I was glad to volunteer and get in the practice.

And on a completely unrelated note, rejoice, comic fans!

You'd better believe it. Normally, I try to conserve drive space by wiping downloaded series after I'm done with them (plus, it encourages me to pay for the good ones when they enter the states for real), but the climax of Haibane Ep 13 was so perfect that I just couldn't delete it.

(Which came in handy for getting screencaps.)

I love the way it climaxed! It was like "look at these nice angle peoples. Aren't they cute? Oh no! One is cutting up her wings! This is sad!" The series actually brought me to tears when Rakka gave Reki her name plate and it translated into 'Reki as in ran over.' Such a great series.

Holy crap! Outland is returning! First Family Guy, then Outland. How awesome is that?
