This meme has really taken off...

For those who didn't notice, I snuck in Walks' questions on the last post. But moving on to Phase Two...

From [livejournal.com profile] cassaclyzm
1) Pick one technology for mankind to invent: instantanious worldwide transportation (a la transporters from Star Trek), or beyond-light-speed travel? How come?
- Light speed. We can already get to just about any point on the planet in 24 hours. I'd prefer to go places we otherwise wouldn't be able to.

2) If you had to become famous for something, what would it be, and why?
- I'd say world peace if it weren't so generic a response. Okay then, I'd like to write the great American novel. I already enjoy writing, and I like knowing when my work reaches people... it would really be cool to know I've reached so many.

3) What's your first memory?
- Dad's motorcycle. Back when it was that and the station wagon, and that was all the transportation we had. I forget what he did with it, but it was gone and replaced with a normal (used) car by the time I was five.

4) You have to give up one of the following for the rest of your life: hearing music, or love (in the romantic sense, let's say). Which would you keep?
- That's just cruel. But I'm enough of a romantic at heart to keep love over music. There's always other art forms...

And [livejournal.com profile] shadeykins:

1) How is BoardSpace coming? :)
- Not badly, actually. Got most of the template finished... then I pass it on to RS and he adds the content.

2) Where do Espers go when they're not being Summoned?
- Esper Realm, usually. Most of them don't leave unless called. If they're called, when the summon finishes, they return to wherever they were called from. (I've suggested in the past that they return to the Esper Realm no matter where they started, but I'm not sure if it makes sense anymore)

3) What is your most prized posession?
- My computer. It's my link to the world. What would I do without it? (Besides have a life. ^^;)

4) What's your favorite book, and why?
- Catch-22, by Joseph Heller. It's just so incredibly out there, incredibly humorous yet darkly deep. Plus every time you re-read it, you notice new stuff, make new connections, etc.

I haven't been asked by you.
