No place like home for the holidays.

So, after eight straight days of work getting everything ahead of schedule, I'm coming up on a well-deserved Christmas break. My brother Andrew, who's in San Diego with tickets to root for Navy at the Poinsettia Bowl (starts in an hour and a half), will be driving up through Orange County tomorrow and picking me up on the way to San Jose and family. From about 10am on, I'll be incommunicado, and I don't honestly know how often I'll be online between then and when I fly home on the evening of the 1st. Although I'll probably squeeze in a couple LJ posts, I almost certainly won't be on ICQ or AIM, since I don't think Dad's computer has either.
So to all of you, Merry Christmas. (Or Happy Holidays. See? I can be neutral in the war!) See you all next year.
Now if you'll excuse me, I still need to pack.
