Now we know who designed all those bikinis.

I was watching the extras for The Incredibles this afternoon, and John Walker mentioned E's ethnicity somewhere in the commentary. I'd never thought of E having any actual ethnic background (beyond "eccentric") but it turns out they were aiming for "Japanese-German". And while Walker's talking about Brad Bird coming up with what a Japanese-German accent would sound like, I'm suddenly realizing I know of only one other half-Japanese, half-German character in all of existance...

And now I'm picturing Brad Bird doing the voice of Hitomi. I just thought I'd share that thought with the rest of you, because hey, why should I be the only one to suffer?
