I have two groups I send regular updates about my life in Japan to. The first are you fine people who read my LJ. You get a comment on current events every day or so. The second are the people who DON'T read my LJ (largely those who I'd rather not give this URL to, for privacy reasons) but who have requested the chance to hear about how I'm doing while I'm out of the country. They get a copied-and-pasted batch of these updates sent in an email every week or so, minus the juicy bits (which have yet to happen, but hey).

Now, sometimes a lot of stuff happens in one day, and I don't want to make a huge post here of unrelated events, so I'll save some and post them on a day when I have less to talk about about. I happen to save the posts that are going out on the weekly email update in the same file. So it is entirely possible that I could, at some theoretical point, become confused about which news flashes I've already posted here, and which have yet to get to you.

Why am I mentioning this? No reason. None at all. -_-;
