The REAL Corona...

The campus astronomy club had a bunch of telescopes and eye shields and what-not set up in the Physical Science plaza to watch the solar eclipse today. In some ways, it was anticlimactic, but in others, it was so bizarre to see 3/4 of the sun missing... and yet the remainder was so bright I couldn't even look in its general direction without protection.

I've got a final in ten and a half hours, so I'm crashing now and getting in some last minute reviews during that last hour beforehand. If the midterm was any gauge, I shouldn't do half bad, but I'd like to be sure.

Where have all the pages gone?

Went through my old list of Boardie pages and was alarmed to find how many were no longer in existence. The Series Board and PSX Board pages went down with Xoom and Redrival, respectively. Wheres wiped out all of Steve Ragnone's old pages, including Suck Network and The Soldier Office. I think half the Pokeboard was using f2s at one point or another; all those pages are gone. And Andrea was hosting a lot of (admittedly dead) stuff, like the PDC and the Test FAQ, on her chunk of the GIA server. That last loss also took out the #fret Homepage, unless someone moved it and didn't tell me.

*looks at the pile of dead Favorites in his Recycling Bin* Sad...

Did someone plaint a bullseye on my computer?

*watches yet ANOTHER copy of the Klez.G worm bounce off his defenses* That's three just today and ten over the past five days. Haven't had a attack like this since the Romeo virus. Meanwhile, my roommate remains unassaulted. Me, I'm just glad the UCI system has started checking for warning signs in these things.
