Seems to be stable again...
Apr. 10th, 2002 01:02 amAnd of course now I've just jinxed it, but oh well.
My math professor for the quarter tends to get a little long-winded. It's not really his fault; he's used to two lectures a week of 90 minutes each, and this quarter the department gave his course three lectures a week of an hour each. He's still adjusting his lessons to match, and it's not unusual for him to go five or ten minutes overtime without even realizing it.
Well, the latest lecture was looking to have the same problem, when suddenly someone's watch alarm went off. Specifically, mine. I had set it to 3 pm the day before as a reminder to be somewhere, then forgotten to turn it off. I managed to turn it off before the professor noticed where the sound was coming from, but then he glanced at the clock, realized what time it was, and apologetically excused the class!
I think I'll leave it on for next class as well. ^^
