Less than 48 hours of use, and already LiveJournal's giving me trouble...

Anyway, Allen, my roommate, invited a couple friends over and we had some shabu shabu (I think that's what it's called, anyway). The meal consists of a hot pot in the center of the table, which you toss raw meat into, let it boil for a few minutes, and fish it back out to eat. And then afterwards you've got a broth-like soup for the second course. Plenty for everyone.
