I think the "Noooo!" thing was partially redeemed by all the crap shaking around him. Maybe just "Arrrrgh!" would have worked better. Vader's screamed in the OT, and it worked out pretty well them.
Oh, yeah. I forgot about the "No emotional attachments? You suck, Yoda!" scene. It's stuff like this that caused the fall of the Order.
I agree with pretty much everything else you said otherwise.
