Rediscovering the library

The Santa Clara County Library System consists of ten separate libraries scattered throughout the valley... with one merged catalogue. Request a book from ANY of them, and it'll be at the closest one within two days of it becoming available.

Also, DVDs, movies, software, manga... Between the ten of them, they've got a VERY good selection. Been slowly advancing through the Discworld series over the past couple months, checked out Spirited Away just today, and I have the last tape of Tenchi Universe (the one I never got to see) on reserve. Life is good.

Yep, it's awesome. It seems more like 3-4 days at the Saratoga and Cupertino libraries though.

You people that live in nice big cities make me angry.

But then I got to see Episode 1 and Episode 2 on opening day with no wait in line for tickets, so I guess I can't complain too much.
