shirenomad1. What do people (probably including yourself) see and like so much in moogles? I see an annoying little animal.
- Started with Mog for me. Did you see the ads for FF3 American? Little guy standing with his sword on a heap of defeated monsters. I just found it amusing that something so small could kick so much ass.
2. How did you get so attracted to Mina? :p
- A slow-sliding slope. :P Started when "default girls" were just coming into style on the RPGamer boards; I thought about adding one to my footer but couldn't decide for a while, so I narrowed it down to about four. Mina made the list because I had recently discovered Soul Edge and beat it first with her (also, she was cute, tomboyish, and Asian, all plusses for me). The other three were Chun Li (who DarkMoogle had kinda called already), Celes (who Teep was also considering at the time), and Faris. After some thinking, I went with Mina. Then RPing exploded into full being on the boards, and Mina started dating my character, and it went from there.
3. Ever play a pen and paper RP?
- I GMed a short Rifts campaign. Didn't get too far; we could never get everyone together. They had just completed a mission to steal a Death's Head and were flying it to the buyer when the whole campaign fell apart completely.
4. How do you write a story that combines both technology and a lack of it? Like, in Asunder.
- I'm not sure I understand the question, but I'll answer as I can: mostly try to think about how technology might be designed to (or by happy circumstance) counter magic, and vice versa. Also consider that the pure techies will see magic as bizarre science, the pure mystics will see tech as bizarre sorcery, and those in between may attempt to combine them.
5. What's your ideal weapon?
- If you mean, which do I find the coolest, twin kodachi (Japanese short swords). If you mean, which do I think I'd actually be best at handling, twin handguns.
