Yeah, I didn't have that option so much- well, no rebates. The drives were probably okay but they were also uncomfortably small.
(With my external, I now have a full Terabyte of storage. Woo!)
...and no, I wasn't in any danger of filling up my storage before. I just have a "more is better" philosophy after constantly bumping up against the 10-meg limit of my ancient systems. Maybe less "uncomfortably small" and more "uncomfortably not as huge as they could be."
