Heh, aw. Mostly I like them for the visual imagery... metaphor-stories and archetypes are thing that resonate with me, so I respond to them. I like them.

I like CMZ's interpretation of the story, because on first read-through, you're feeling superior to the blind men... obviously they're narrow-viewed, an elephant isn't just this or that part. You "get it". But the point is that you're blind too... nobody can ever have the whole picture, and you have to remember that. As a broad idea, I think that works.


Badly constructed parables... or hypothetical choice situations that are so vague that you can make them mean anything... the idea of parables isnt perfect, I guess. They can be abused or just annoying.
