There's nothing more annoying...

Than getting almost all the way through a game and then discovering you missed something back at the beginning that you can't go back for.

Me, I neglected to scan the War Wasp dispenser boss in Metroid Prime. Other than that, I've got a complete log book. *debates the merits of seeing how fast he can rip through the game a second time* (No, I don't want to bother trying to get everything during my Hard game run-through. I'll have enough on my hands, thank you.)

I get that a lot with games. Unless it's something amazing and I love the game to death, I usually skip the missed thing and just shelf the game.

I know. I just gave up on the picture galleries and downloaded them off the net. Game's too anal for me to get everything.

Yeah, from what I played of that, I was like "SONUVA--" when I found out about that. Fortunately, I haven't played it in a whiiile and it was on my friend's Gamecube, so I doubt the game is around anymore. Which means when I do play it again, I'll need to start over to get the hang of it again anyway. ;)

One of the things I hated about FFX-2 was that nitpickiness in getting 100 percent, too. Yeah, I know, you can restart and get a 100 percent by choosing the other story options, but it still annoyed me that parts of percentages were acquired after just sleeping in the airship cabin. And other things. Grrr. (At least the ending I got was still very good.)
