Doesn't look like anyone else is going to take it, so...
Bold for the right answer, italicized for the most popular.
1. Okay, let's start with something easy: what's my real name?
Chris Loid
Chris Slaterr
Chris Walkan
Chris Reaves
Chris Columbo
- Everyone got this one. Good for you.
2. My brothers attend(ed) which two institutions of higher learning?
Linfield and Annapolis.
Wheaton and Annapolis.
Wheaton and Westpoint.
Linfield and Wheaton.
Linfield and Westpoint.
- I gave half credit for getting one out of two.
3. My dearly departed cat was named:
Miko
Blackstone
Kaboodle
Chester
Fluffy
- Kaboodle and Fluffy were both cats I had several years ago, and I would have given partial credit had anyone guessed them. But the answer I was looking for was Blackstone, and most of you have been reading my LJ enough to know that.
4. What was my first job?
Testing hardware.
Selling cutlery.
Designing web pages.
Flipping burgers.
Installing bookcases.
- The only one of these I've never done is the burger flipping, so I gave two points for any answer besides that and the correct one, which got all ten. Guesses ranged all over the map here; each one got at least one vote.
5. Which of these Final Fantasies do I have yet to play?
Final Fantasy 4
Final Fantasy 5
Final Fantasy 8
Final Fantasy 9
Final Fantasy Tactics
- I swear, Teep, I'll play it! (Half credit, by the way, for Tactics, which I've played but never completed.)
6. In terms of ancestry, I'm mostly:
Scot-English
German-English
Welsh
Danish-English
African
- Hmm, no one thought I was black.
7. Which relative of mine was born in the one, the only, Roswell, New Mexico?
My aunt
My dad
My grandfather
My mom
Me
- Again, a lot of guesses across the board. But it's Mom.
8. What year model is my car?
1996
1992
1988
1984
1980
- I gave three points to anyone who guessed one on either side of the correct answer. But I'm surprised more people weren't aware that my car is pretty damn old. 1992?
9. I follow two message boards regularly. What event, by coincidence, immediately preceded my first becoming a regular on both?
The reformatting of the board design
A crash of the server leading to data loss
A change in the forum administration
The death of a regular
A week-long flame war
- Three point partial credit for the server crash, since that happened a lot on RPGamer back then. But most of you remembered that Daniel Seltzer left us about a month before I started really attending the RPG board. Since no CRFHers took the test, none of you knew about Firefox, who was in the World Trade Center that day, but a lot of you extrapolated from Daniel and came to the correct conclusion.
10. During my time in Japan, which location did I NOT get to visit?
Kyoto
The Tokyo Tower
Hiroshima
Mt. Fuji
Tokyo Disneyland
- Okay, obviously a lot of you weren't reading my LJ (or weren't paying attention), because I posted about my visits to the other four. It was a long time ago, so you're forgiven, but I'm surprised: no one guessed correctly.
Eight people tried out this test. Number Two was Teep, which is nothing to be ashamed of, because he missed Number One by only one point... and Number One was my brother.
